Ace had a productive meeting with the Water and Sanitation Department of the the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, regarding the proposed regulation for licensing practitioners in the Water and Sanitation Sector.

We discussed on the proposed regulations, including on
– Safeguarding the opportunity of Maldivian Engineers in the WATSAN Sector
– Harmonising the issuance and standards of this license with other government ministries issuing similar licenses of professional practice in other engineering disciplines.
– Indemnity, Insurance and liabilities associated with the proposed license.
– Cost of License, its renewals.
