CALL FOR NOMINATION FOR THE ENGINEERING COUNCIL

As the term of the current Engineering Council of the Association of Civil Engineers (Maldives) has ended, the election for the new Council will be held from 21st February 2021 (12:00PM) to 28th February 2021 (12:00PM).

Eligible members of ACE interested in the positions of the Engineering Council are invited to self-nominate as per the application process given below.

POSITIONS OF THE COUNCIL

  • 4 Members from Professional Engineer Members
  • 2 Members from Engineer Members

ELLIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR COUNCIL MEMBERS

Applicants for positions of Professional Engineering Members should be a member of ACE and hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 8 years of experience in the Civil Engineering field or a master’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 6 years of experience in Civil Engineering field.

Applicants for positions of Engineering Members should be a member of ACE and hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering field.

TIMELINE

11th February 2021 – 18th February 2021 (12:00 pm) – Nomination

18th February 2021 – 21st February 2021 (12:00 pm) – Vetting Process

21st February 2021 – 28th February 2021 (12:00 pm) – Voting

Interested candidates shall send an email of intent via their ACE registered mail along with their past five years work experience with references to elections@ace.org.mv
